Sorry we haven't posted any updates lately so I am here to update everyone.
It has been a rough couple of weeks Claudia has been falling quite a bit and talked with the Drs. and they felt that it was the chemo meds doing it. With the meds she was on she lost all her hair and she told me with Halloween coming up she wanted to be Uncle Fester for her costume for Halloween,
The Thursday before Halloween she had a fight with a sidewalk and you will never guess who won so we took her to the hospital to get checked out, she broke her sunglasses bruised her cheek and eyebrow, cut her lip and knocked out one of her front teeth, everything checked out good and the dr. popped the tooth back in and we were good to go but I told Claudia that if she was trying to improve her costume that was not how to do it.
A week ago Sunday she fell and landed on the shower guide rails for the shower doors scraping a bunch of skin and 2 huge bruises on her head luckily not doing any more damage.
This last Wednesday Claudia woke up and could not feel her left arm or move it so we got her to hospital her arm got better but after scans we found that the cancer spread to her brain so they told us that we needed to talk to the drs. the next day.
We talked her dr. and are doing 23 treatments of radiation to shrink the tumors and steroids to reduce any swelling in the brain, got Thurs. and Friday treatments in and Friday night Claudia had 2 seizures if you have never seen one it's very scary esp. when you are telling the one you love that you love them and she can't respond to you. The Dr says that it is from the cancer in the brain, they put her on some anti seizure meds and meds to keep her blood sugar down because the steroids raise the blood sugar alot with high doses. They want to do scans after radiation to see if it is working, we hope and pray that it will.
The treatments like some chemo's make her very tired but we are going to keep fighting for as long as we can she is a strong woman!!!

Claudia wants to thank everyone for all the cards that we have gotten from everyone and she wishes she could respond more to everyone!


I will try and keep you all up to date the best I can.
I have a request for everyone for the week..... it isn't your typical request but I would like you to tell someone who has not heard it for a while even if you think they already know " I Love You" because you might never get that chance again.

We need your prayers please

I had my PET scan and got bad news. It looks like more cancer grew and the chemo stopped working. My old Oncologist moved and I don't see my new guy until next Wednesday Sept, 7

I had go in and see Dr. Dingbat who doesn't know a persons nose from their foot and he read me the results which in themselves confusing because the radiologist who read them didn't even mention the tumor in my lung. So I will give Dr. Dingbat a point for the radiologists blindness but Dr. Dingbat looses 185 points for stupidity on understanding how to answer a simple question or tell you what you need to know.

Dingbat tells me there is new cancer in the spine, shoulder and right hip. He couldn't answer any questions about my lung tumor because of the above problem.

So I am seeing a new highly recommended Dr. next Wednesday and hopefully get more answers.
In the mean time I had a chemo treatment with a new drug today and what we will do from here is up to Dr. Niceguy.

Scott has his MRI tomorrow morning his leg. It's still hurts like he** , he's limping and needs a cane go get around.

Scott and I both need your prayers. Me with the cancer and ulcers and Scott with a very sore lower leg. He can't walk on it, using a cane, taking pain pills. Seeing the bone doctor today. Please pray he has less pain.
